A Sex Talk with Gill

A Sex Talk with Gill - Unleash Your Sexual Pleasures!

Our female empire feel like it’s complicated to be open about enjoying our sex life and especially enjoying masturbation! Us girls have needs too, guys! AND god forbid if we want to take a smashing selfie in our underwear or with our nips out (But that’s for another day to discuss), We are SO sick of it!!! We want to masturbate, take nudes and not have to explain ourselves! This should not be classed as ‘slutty’, we are belladonnas waving our rabbit wand in the air and back to our vaginas, like we just don’t care.

First off, I want to start by saying Lemonade Dolls are a platform to make you feel your most fabulous, comfortable and confident AF self and as a Social Media Coordinator for them I have come out of my shell. I have been able to be more open about things that shouldn't need to be ashamed of. I want our babes of LD to be open about their own sexuality and self pleasure, because honey we all deserve some pleasure whatever taste buds we have!!!

Below will be a discussion some sex toy recommendations, as we all know our fingers for masturbation sometimes just aren’t enough (or your partners, but we will keep that on the down low angel, they don’t need to know that!!). We all do have our preferences with vibrators or as Italians say “amore with motors.” We have provided below some examples for you to explore..

Masturbation is all about getting to know your bodies, learn what works for you. Learn what doesn’t work for you. Tease yourself and mostly importantly relax and enjoy yourself!!!

There was one time I was at the airport and through security I went, to only have my bag checked. The airport security man pulled out my pebble vibrator and he thought it was a perfume bottle and threw it back in the bag as soon as he realised. I was embarrassed at first but then I thought fuck it!! It’s natural and I continued on with my journey with a clean girl power mind as all I thought about, it could of been worse, the man could of broken it!

If you have any more questions about anything regarding this topic or advice please feel free to send me an email with your concerns on gillian@lemonadedolls.com AND DON’T FEEL ASHAMED. Gillian has been through it all gals!! We want to hear your ‘embarrassing’ stories go over onto our instagram stories this afternoon!! We can’t wait to have a laugh with you dolls 💋💞💜

How the body is exposed explicitly within contemporary fashion and society

The concept of my this shoot was giving the first thought of knowledge that comes to mind when I imagine how the body is exposed explicitly in contemporary fashion and society. My first influence from this topic was Roy Raymound the king of lingerie which funny enough prior to the founding of Victoria Secret, he was embarrassed purchasing lingerie for his wife. My second influence is a photographer that goes by the name of Jake Hicks, he does a lot of neon light lighting and a lot of the models our all in revealing and sexy underwear. The neon lighting in my opinion makes the female body stand out. It highlights it in a beautiful way. My idea of the photo-shoot was to identify the complex of a female body with no judgement, I showed that in my models poses. They look like they were having fun being a woman in an exposed body with lingerie. I made the models look as if they were dancing and moving. The only thing I regret is getting proper neon lights, instead I got LED ones that weren’t bright enough from amazon in the colour of pink, red and blue and they took a while to come in the post. It ended up I had to edit the neon brightness on. Which a matter of fact was actually a learning curve to teach myself to do that on Photoshop and I did find it quite interesting. Overall, I am proud of the outcome of the pictures and the models worked well with me, they were natural beauties so I didn’t have to edit much. Styling, make-up, photography and editing on Adobe Photoshop was all done by me. My styling inspiration was Victoria Secret’s bodysuit section on their website.

Civil Rights Movement Guardian Weekend and TIME Magazine Spread

This project portrays the rights of African-American citizens. It is based on the many
protests defending the colour of their skin, to give everyone the right to have a say and vote
especially in America. Martin Luther King Jr the leader of this movement before his
assassination (Civil Rights Movement 1950-1965) that happened in 1968 helped defend
these equal rights.

Editorial - TIME Magazine
Cover – Guardian Magazine
The Editorial images includes the model wearing handcuffs to show the vulnerability and
the flag shows the liberal side to prove everyone has a right to live and be protected in
America (and this whole world of course) and race should not matter, everyone matters. I
choose delicate and elegant expressions for the model to show she neither happy or sad to
give a story that she content she has fought for her rights and she will continue fighting so
you can arrest her all you want. For the 4 images I kept it quite plain by deciding on a simple
black dress. The focus was set more on the props and her stance was strongly grounded.

Moschino handbag advertisment

This shoot I situated in Southampton Park, which means nothing really because southampton has about 5 parks but anyway this is one of them. Make-up is natural based glow and jewels were added by make-up artist to give off an edge as Moschino campaigns are never boring with crazy colours. This vibrant yellow coat is light and brilliant for this sunny day, £59 from Zara. The jeans our TopShop's finest. The bag of course is the main subject in this shoot, Moschino designer, it is the item I am advertising, a great bag for Coffee stops or even days of shopping, it pretty much goes with anything!

Camel shoot

Final picture from my camel shoot. I edited toast earrings on the model, god knows why but it was a perfect idea at the time because of my crazy mind. These aren't clothes I would usually style on myself but the model suited the clothing displayed. The colour camel is one of my favourites at the minute along with burgundy also camel coats are so in right now grab one before it gets warmer!
